Caitlin Lepech brings more than ten years of industry experience to her current role as a client engagement executive and chief of staff for IBM’s Global Chief Data Office. Caitlin has played a key role in establishing IBM’s first Global Chief Data Office (850+ employees), an organization tasked with driving IBM’s transformation to a world-class cognitive business. Caitlin leads all client engagement for the office, helping clients realize the value of data and analytics across their enterprises.
She has held several leadership roles including analyst and influencer relations for IBM’s analytics business, and led cross-functional global IT and business teams to deliver organizational change, infrastructure systems, and enterprise-wide technology platforms to clients worldwide. She has published thought leadership on diverse topics such as Power of Partnership (shifts in outsourcing), Innovation in Africa, and Chief Data Officers. Caitlin is a guest lecturer at the Stanford University Center for Sustainable Development and Global Competitiveness, and a frequent speaker at business and data conferences. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
