Caroline is a data pioneer and leader, with 30 years in the industry. She’s now responsible for ensuring Ordnance Survey’s location data is treated as a strategic national asset.
Caroline champions data at board level, helping Britain and other nations unlock the power of geospatial to drive economic and citizen benefits.
The importance of data capabilities, skills and integrity is a focus for Caroline, as well as promoting diversity at senior leadership, boardroom and non-executive levels.
Before joining OS, she worked for blue-chip companies in areas including consultancy, retail, utilities, telecommunications and the public sector.
Her most recent role was Director - Big Data, Data Science and Analytics and Business Intelligence for Vodafone Germany, the largest Vodafone operating company (in revenue). In this role she was responsible for defining their analytics, BI and Big Data strategy, and led the successful execution of the major (c £50m) data transformation programme to deliver significant commercial and competitive advantage.
