Caroline’s working history has covered the whole spectrum of roles across the data, research and insights industry. From more traditional research beginnings, she now finds herself in a role where she can combine her passion for data and the stories it can tell, with that of understanding what drives customers to connect and engage with brands.
TVNZ has been on a journey in recent years to put the customer at the heart of decision making, from content purchasing decisions, to product development and distribution strategies, through to a more personalised data-driven communications strategy.
Caroline and her team are in a unique position to use their insight and data capabilities to support the development and delivery of TVNZ’s customer centric strategy. With a basis in research, data led daily performance dashboards and talking to the viewers, the success of this strategy is monitored and adjusted accordingly. Providing TVNZ the opportunity to quickly assess the impact of business decisions on both tactical and strategic initiatives, and pivot where necessary.
