Director, Organziational Development, Lowell General Hospital
As Director of Organizational Development, Deb directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures with a focus on creating a culture of organizational effectiveness through employee engagement and development. Deb is responsible for leading overall learning and development functions for Lowell General in a manner that supports efforts to achieve the organization’s mission, culture development and operational goals. Deb creates and maintains a strategic business partner model to the organization in the area of individual and organizational development by designing and implementing initiatives to develop skills, capabilities and competencies to ensure that the strategic plan can be successfully implemented. Deb facilitates the Employee Perspectives survey project, a key initiative in Lowell General’s Employer of Choice strategy. Lowell General has been recognized locally and nationally as a Best Place to Work by the Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, Becker’s Healthcare Review and Modern Healthcare Magazine. Deb has spoken on employee engagement at the Press Ganey National and Regional conferences, as well as at the Massachusetts Hospital Association annual conference. Deb serves as chairperson of Lowell’s Rewards & Recognition Council and Diversity Council Deborah brings over 20 years of professional experience as a teacher, trainer, consultant and product manager. Deborah holds a B. A. in Education from Rivier University and a M.S. in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Management from Northeastern University.
