Jacqueline heads the global privacy function for the national award winning airline, Air New Zealand based in Auckland. Her role at Air New Zealand allows her to focus on a truly customer centric view of personal information and she works closely with all digital, customer, security and data stakeholders to meet the expectations of individuals, policy and global regulations when handling personal information.
She has been advising on privacy and data protection matters and managing global privacy programmes across several industries and countries, since 2004. Previous privacy related roles have included Head of Information Governance at GE Capital (covering the EMEA region) and privacy advisor for BP Ltd and Standard Chartered Bank, based in London. After an extended, obligatory ‘overseas experience’ of twenty something years she returned to New Zealand in 2014. Initially, she was providing consulting services to government agencies, focusing on high risk privacy impact assessments involving biometric and immigration related personal information. She serves on several Advisory Committees for iappANZ, in addition to her Board Director role.
