John’s upbringing in war-torn Zimbabwe took him through active military service, tragedy and chronic illness. With degrees in business and psychology and an early career in brand marketing, he spent seven years running his own successful advertising agency before emigrating to Australia in 1998.
He has worked on corporate and brand strategy with organisations like Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, ANZ, and Reckitt Benckiser. He spear-headed the development of Omnicare Alliance Limited, a fast-growing not-for-profit, where is Joint CEO – Brand, Marketing & People.
Passionate about people, John published his first book, “Purposeful”, in 2016, and is a regular contributor to national business magazines, journals, television and radio.
