Katie has worked in Human Resources for over 16 years, mostly in fast growing tech companies, and has worn many hats to shape culture including, talent management, organizational development and design, total rewards, HR analytics, learning and business partner.Katie joined Indeed 7.5 years ago in a business partner capacity and found her passion in development. She saw an opportunity to improve manager effectiveness within Indeed and was given the chance to build a team - Employee Development was born. In two and a half years, the team grew from 5 to over 50 team members globally. The team now strives to keep the workforce engaged in their roles, teams, and company as a whole, with a focus in four main areas: Learning Experience, Talent & Organization Development, Leader Effectiveness, and HR Communications. Katie also holds a Master Degree in HR from DePaul University and certifications in Strengths Based Coaching from TMBC and Inclusion and Diversity from Yale.
