Pierre-Johan (PJ) has been in the Financial Services industry since 2005. He started his career in credit as a Quantitative Analyst during the early days of Basel I and II implementations and IAS39 provision modelling in Retail, Commercial and Corporate segments. In 2015 the role of the Chief Data Officer (CDO) was offered to him for WesBank Group where he headed up the Information Office, leading several maturing and newly formed Information Management capabilities and Information Governance ever since. As a first generation CDO, a number of regulatory projects are facilitated from the Office. The Data and Record Management professionals within the Information Office are contributing towards the data delivery and execution requirements for the WesBank Group Data Strategy.

Capital, provisioning and predictive modelling, data analysis, pricing models, portfolio and risk management, credit stress testing and risk appetite modelling. Information Governance and Information Management, Change Management and Data Strategy.
