He started in the banking business in 1993 in Grupo Financiero Bital where he managed The Operations, Reengineering and IT areas. Subsequently in 1996 he is appointed as a Head of the Retail Baking and Deputy CEO in 1998 he became Co CEO for Grupo Financiero Bital.
After HSBC acquired Bital in 2002 he became Head of Personal Financial Services (PFS) and acted as Deputy CEO for the Bank, managed as Head of Personal Financial Services Latin America and the Caribbean and from 2006 to 2008 The Consumer Credit business for Emerging Markets on a Global Basis.
On September 2011 to October 2013 he became the Chief Financial Officer for Grupo Financiero Banorte-IXE, since November 2013 is the Chief Operating Officer.
He has a Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineer, Master’s Degree in Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering, from the University of Michigan.
