Rodd is CEO and co-founder of Smart Video Australia and Personalised Video Lab UK.
Rodd is a true ‘creative technologist’, combining the power of data, personalisation and cutting edge video technology to create engaging experiences where the connection happens.
Rodd started his career in Australia at agencies DDB and Saatchi & Saatchi, where he rose to the level of Executive Creative Director. During 8 years in New York he worked as ECD at TBWA and Lowe Lintas, winning international creative awards and looking after multi-national brands including Unilever, Coca Cola and Johnson & Johnson.
Always looking to deepen his toolkit, in recent years he has developed an intimate understanding of cloud based technology and SaaS.
In 2013 he began developing his own cloud-based personalised video platform that would allow him to deliver breakthrough creative to an infinite sized database on a one-to-one level, in real time. In 2014 Smart Video Australia was born.
Today, the company has offices in Australia and the UK, and works for a growing number of ASX Top 50 clients, and multinationals.
In the last 24 months, the company has delivered well over 10 million personalised videos, including customer on-boarding, bill statements, policy renewals, reactivation and loyalty campaigns
