Interim Head of Digital Transformation, Southern Water
Working alongside his client’s Chief Data Oﬃcer, Tim is leading the Data Transformation of Southern Water. He has devised the company’s first data strategy: to drive value by ensuring clear line of sight between the Company’s strategic priorities and the underpinning data needed to support insight and evidence-based decisions. He is identifying coherent, accurate and timely data products, with relevance and utility across a wide range of stakeholders and consumers: the business, its regulators, shareholders, and customers. He has generated human capability from across the business, identifying the knowledge, skills and experience needed to achieve data outcomes, and transforming it into single, cohesive Data Team. “Driving insight with data.”
Prior to his current role, Tim was the British Army’s first Chief Data Oﬃcer and Chief Analytics Oﬃcer. He led a diverse team of soldiers, civil servants and industry specialists to transform the way the Army addressed its most important decisions, in the context of its strategic vision. He brought timely and relevant data to bear to underpin the work of the Army’s Executive Board, senior leaders and operational commanders.
