Building AI-Driven Enterprises in a Disrupted Environment
How 104 Enterprise Chief Data and Analytics Officers are Spearheading Strategies, Systems and Cultures to Create Operational AI in the Age of COVID-19
In April and May 2020, we conducted a representative global survey of 104 Chief Data and Analytics Officers from organizations with at least $100 million in annual revenue.
The study was designed to explore how C-level executives at large enterprises are working to operationalize AI in the age of COVID-19.
Through survey research and in-depth executive interviews, it explores how these executives are developing AI capabilities within their organizations and using them to differentiate their business in the face of the pandemic.
Key Findings:
- 57% say demand for AI products as risen as a result of COVID-19
- 67% don’t monitor their models to ensure their continued accuracy and prevent model drift
- 93% say ethical considerations must be dealt with to drive AI adoption within their organizations
